We are delighted to announce that we have been cleared by King County to reopen! If you are receiving this message it means that you have a scheduled service in the salon between Tuesday June 9th and Sunday June 14th. As we continue to reschedule over 400 cancelled appointments your service was scheduled based on the Appointment Request Form you completed. Here are some FAQs regarding your upcoming service: When is my appointment? You should have received communication by email or phone call to notify you of your service time. You can now keep track of all of your Fix Salon appointments through our custom client app. iphone. android. What if the appointment time doesn’t fit my schedule? We are currently scheduling one week at a time. To avoid cancellation fees please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your service. We will release your reservation to another client and then notify you when we can reschedule you based on your appointment request form. What is the Safety and PPE Charge? *UPDATE: Based on 30 day review our PPE fee, as of July 6th is as follows: Haircut $2 Color $5 Based on new requirements from the state and in best efforts to keep everyone in the salon healthy we have added a number of items and processes to our business. As a result we are temporarily adding a 10% Safety and PPE Charge to every appointment. We have decided on a percentage vs a flat fee because the sanitization process is more extensive the longer a client is in the salon. Longer services also require more tools, towels, gloves and other items that need to be sanitized after use. We will review this fee every 30 days and expect it to decrease over time. What policies and protocols are in place during my service? Please refer to our prior email regarding new policies and protocols established for everyone’s safety during your visit. When you arrive for your appointment: Check in from your car. The easiest way to check in from your car is through our custom client app. iphone. android. Once you have checked in wait until you receive a text or phone call from your stylist to approach the salon. You must wear a mask for the duration of your visit to the salon. Washington state recommends a cloth mask. If you do not have a mask, don’t worry, we will have one for you! We also have a selection of essential oils you can add to your mask. We have found that a small drop of peppermint, lavender or bergamot can make wearing a mask much more pleasant. Your temperature will be taken before entering the salon. Your stylist will meet you at the door to record your temperature before entering. Any temperature 100.4 or higher will result in rescheduling your service. Please avoid any activity that may elevate your body temperature prior to your arrival. The less you bring in the better. Only clients with appointments will be allowed in the salon. Please leave kids, friends and family at home. Also, please avoid bringing in coats, sweaters, bags and food items. Wear clothing your are comfortable having near hair color. We have temporarily closed our changing area and closets.
Our team has been preparing for your visit. We have provided a weeks worth of education to our team to be prepared for you! A three day digital retreat was hosted by Fix Salon and featured top educators from across the country. We focused on new techniques to provide impactful results to accommodate our new service times. We also partnered with local Nurse Practitioner Alison North who guided us through all of our new sanitation and PPE processes. Every team member has rehearsed our new processes in the salon. We are excited to see you and get back to doing what we love.
