June 30th COVID Update
Summer is here and we are excited to see you!
As of June 30th Washington State has been re-opened to full occupancy and updated mask policies. Here’s what’s happening at Fix Salon.
Masks
Our team members and clients who have been vaccinated are welcome to be in our space without a mask. We are fortunate to live in a city where the majority of our population has been vaccinated. We trust you to follow state and city masking policies.
If you would like to wear a mask and/or you prefer your stylist wear a mask we will happily accommodate you. After a year of wearing this protective Item we recognize there are many different levels of comfort as we transition back to “normal”. We want to make you as comfortable as possible during your visit. You may also request your visit is during a low occupancy time to give you a little more space.
When Seattle temperatures are below 80 degrees this summer we will have doors and windows open to circulate fresh air through our space. When temperatures hit above 80 degrees we will have our air conditioning on and utilize our medical grade air purifiers to keep our air fresh.
Re-Defining Our Space
Just like many of you, going from 50% occupancy to 100% occupancy feels a little overwhelming for us. We will be taking our time over the next 30-60 days to decide what feels comfortable to us and our guests in regards to occupancy. Please be patient with us as we take our time establishing our in-salon experience.

TO MASK OR NOT TO MASK
Yesterday (May 13th, 2021) the CDC release an update to their mask guidelines. This was followed by Washington State Governor Inslee adopting these guidelines for our state.
We are celebrating the progress that is being made across the country, and in our city, as we continue to minimize the impact of COVID. As we get closer to living life normally again our company is deciding how to decipher these new guidelines in a way that is supports our team and clients.
At this time Fix Salon will still require our team and clients to wear a mask at all times when in the salon. We will review this status week by week as we all become more comfortable transitioning back into our mask-less world. We appreciate the support you have provided over the last year. We make these decisions with all of you in mind.

These numbers represent one year of hard work to keep our team and clients healthy during an unprecedented pandemic. We have a few updates to our policies beginning this May.
Changing
Temperature Checks. With a year of consistent temperature checks at our entry we have had zero instances of illness from clients and our team. This May we will be discontinuing this step and ask that you follow the state's recommended self temperature check prior to your salon visit. If you feel ill, have a temperature, or are concerned about a recent exposure to illness we are happy to reschedule your service.
Face coverings at the shampoo bowl. Washington state is no longer requiring that we cover your face with a towel at the shampoo bowl. This is now an optional process. You may request a towel face cover before you shampoo begins, but it will no longer be mandatory.
PPE Fee. After a year of purchasing PPE materials for the salon we have found a balance of what we need and the cost will now be absorbed in our service prices. As of May 8th our PPE Fee will be discontinued.
Remaining
Face Masks. We are high-fiving you as you celebrate your new vaccinated status, however wearing a face masks is still a requirement during your visit in the salon.
Sanitizing between clients. We will continue to fully sanitized all touchpoint at clients stations and throughout the salon between every service.

We are now offering new services to help maintain you hair in and out of the salon.
Shimmer and SHINE! This service partners two Fix Salon follower favorites; a custom toning gloss and our award winning signature blowout. Brass control guaranteed. This service can be reserved online or by contacting us directly.
Gloss and Go! A new express service available only to our EXC’s (existing clients). During your 45 minute visit your stylist will apply a refresh of your favorite toning gloss, once it processes and shampooed you are out the door! Let your hair air dry or give yourself a home blowout. This service cannot be reserved online. Please contact us directly for your appointment.
Service Upgrades. Who doesn't love a good upgrade? We have created select specialty services to elevate your Fix Salon Visit.
Secret Menu. This list of services are only available to our EXC's (existing clients). We do not promote these in our online options. You need to be part of our inner circle to schedule. Please message us directly to reserve.

Choosing between foils, balayage, foiliage and other dimensional techniques can get overwhelming when scheduling an appointment. There are many ways to create beautiful dimensional color and we want to make the choice easy for you. You provide the inspiration and let us be the experts at deciding what technique will take you to your goal.
When scheduling dimensional color (any type of highlight) you now only need to choose where you want to see the color. Our dimensional color service options are now scheduled as face framing, partial head placement or full head placement. It’s that simple. During your consultation your stylist will work with you to choose the best technique. The pricing is the same for every technique and will only vary based on the amount of color used to create your dream hair.
Our dimensional color services are now 100% color inclusive. This means your toning color gloss is now included with every highlight service. We feel this step is vital to the success of your finished look and wanted to make it a standard during your visit.

Salon Scale | We are going HIGH TECH for your next salon appointment.
We are going high tech for your next salon appointment with Salon Scale.
In May we will be introducing Salon Scale technology. During your color service your stylist will be mixing your color using a special bluetooth enabled scale that not only accurately measures your color but also records your custom mix for future visits.
Additionally you will now be charged only for the exact amount of color used in your service. When you receive your receipt you will see two prices. The first will be your service cost and the second will be your color cost.
This means your color recipe will be accurate with every stylist on our team and your pricing is customized to your specific hair needs.
